Independence, Inc. is excited to be working with first-year MBA students through the University of Kansas KIP program. We have a team of five students that will serve as consultants for a six month period. Teams work on specific challenges faced by today’s service organizations. They conduct comprehensive research, identify alternative solutions and present ideas for implementation.

Independence, Inc. has asked the KIP team to research ideas that would allow us to continue offering services with less reliance on federal and state funding. They are exploring options for developing the 3 acre property behind our building to support our mission and diversify funding for the organization. We really look forward to working with this talented team of students, their enthusiasm for the project is contagious!
