    Since 1976, the BOEC has offered quality outdoor learning experiences to people of all abilities, including people with disabilities, those with serious illnesses and injuries, and "at-risk" populations. As a non-profit organization we are dedicated to helping people reach their full potential through custom programs for groups and opportunities for individuals.   • USA Deaf Sports Federation
    The Akron Club of the Deaf in Ohio sponsored the first national basketball tournament in 1945, at which time it established the American Athletic Union of the Deaf. The organization was later renamed the American Athletic Association of the Deaf (AAAD), and in 1997, the USA Deaf Sports Federation (USADSF).  The mission of the USADSF is
